Mary Kelly

Mary is a singer who believes no story is too big or too fantastic, especially if told with grace and wit.   Hearing and telling stories is endlessly fascinating to her - from open mikes to concert stages, from book musicals to alternative plays, from solo gigs to Broadway (ok, off-Broadway)!  She is a singer, actor, writer, teacher, and musician.  She is a recurring character in Schitt’s Creek; and has appeared in The Handmaid’s Tale, Orphan Black; In the Dark; Hot Zone; Saving Hope and Reign.  Onstage she made her New York theatrical debut originating the role of Mother in Living With Henry.  She has appeared in plays and musicals across Canada, was a featured soloist with Symphony Nova Scotia performing folk music that had been collected by Dr. Helen Creighton and was assistant director for the Papal Visit Choir in Halifax, NS.
